DRIVERS NEEDED: FCTA is seeking applicants from all areas of Western Kentucky and Western Tennessee to apply for Drivers positions. The push for applicants from Mayfield/Graves County area is to hire individuals living in that area to drive for FCTA and clock in at the Mayfield office daily. We still need residents of Fulton, Hickman, Clinton, Obion and Weakley counties in Tennessee and surrounding areas to apply as well. We have new buses and need new Drivers to operate them! In order to obtain an application, please stop by the Fulton office at 302 Eastwood Drive or the Mayfield office at 3414 U.S. Highway 45 North.
SPECIAL DELIVERY: FCTA received seven new buses delivered from Ohio recently. The seven buses - 2024 Ford Transit 350 narrow body cutaways - were delivered by Tesco Bus, a company located in a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. Although the cutaways look like others in the FCTA fleet, closer inspection shows that the seating is different inside with single seats on one side of the bus and double seats on the other. The buses, according to Building and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Chris Brown, also seem taller than the older model buses. Funding for the vehicles was provided by state and federal grant monies.
