Drivers Sought

FCTA employees going extra mile during wintry weather
For many people, working in inclement weather often means going from point A to point B to get to their jobs. For FCTA employees, it’s not quite that simple.
Especially when that job includes transporting clients to necessary care.
“I would like to thank FCTA employees for stepping up and making sure our clients with life-sustaining medical treatments are making their appointments,” said FCTA Executive Director Kenney Etherton. “We have drivers braving the cold, ice, snow, and treacherous road conditions ensuring clients make it safely to treatment.”
Etherton is also thankful for those employees who realize “snow day” is not a definition of their workday when asked to stay home because of the weather conditions.
“We have employees working from home call taking, scheduling, and doing other critical job functions,” Etherton explained. “I am proud of each and every professional staff member we have at FCTA. They unselfishly provide services for our clients. We have a great team of people serving our four counties in Western Kentucky.”
